Create
Overview
The Create submodule is used to create and manage supporting master records that are referenced by other parts of Caddayn Biller. It provides separate tabs for different entity types, allowing users to create, search, edit, and delete records from a centralized interface.
Records created here become available for selection in the relevant modules throughout the application.
The Create submodule includes the following tabs:
Brand
Category
Tax
Batch
Label
Expense Types
Investment Types
Income Types
Interface Overview
Each entity type is managed through its own tab. The selected tab displays its existing records in a list.
Common controls available across the tabs include:
Search – Search records by name.
Refresh – Reload the latest records.
Add – Create a new record for the selected entity type.
Action Menu (⋮) – Edit or delete an existing record.
Tabs – Switch between the different entity types.
The Tax tab has additional configuration options because tax records support tax percentages and tax splitting.
Creating a Record
For all tabs except Tax, creating a new record follows the same process.
To create a record:
Open Master Data → Create.
Select the required tab.
Click the corresponding Add button.
Enter the Name and Description.
Click Save.
The new record is then available for use in the relevant modules.

Open the required tab under Master Data → Create.
Locate the record.
Click the ⋮ menu.

Confirm the deletion.
Note: Records that are already referenced by other modules or transactions may be subject to system restrictions when deletion is attempted.
Searching Records
Use the Search box available within each tab to quickly locate a record by name.
The search applies to the currently selected entity type.
Production Notes
Records created in the Create submodule are used throughout the application wherever the corresponding entity is required.
Tax is the only tab with additional configuration beyond name and description.
Tax splits can contain one or more existing tax components.
Changes to a master record are reflected wherever that record is referenced.
Avoid deleting records that are actively used by existing transactions.
