Rewards Configuration

Overview

The Rewards feature in the Caddayn Application allows businesses to reward customers with points based on their purchases. These points can later be converted into monetary rewards once the customer reaches the minimum points required for redemption.

Step 1: Access Rewards

  1. Open the Caddayn Application.

  2. Navigate to the Sales section.

  3. Select Rewards.

  4. Click on Configure Point Setting to begin configuring the rewards system.

Step 2: Configure Point Generation

Under Point Generation, define how customers will earn reward points based on their purchase amount.

Enter the following details:

  • Amount: The purchase amount required to generate points.

  • Corresponding Points: The number of points awarded for the specified amount.

  • Minimum Amount: The minimum purchase amount required to earn reward points.

Example

If the settings are configured as:

  • Amount: ₹100

  • Corresponding Points: 1 Point

  • Minimum Amount: ₹100

A customer who makes a purchase of ₹500 will receive 5 reward points.

Step 3: Configure Points-to-Money Conversion

The Points to Money Conversion section defines the monetary value of the accumulated reward points.

Enter:

  • Points: The number of points required for conversion.

  • Amount: The monetary value corresponding to those points.

Example

If the conversion is configured as:

  • Points: 10 Points

  • Amount: ₹1

Then 100 points will have a monetary value of ₹10.

Step 4: Set Minimum Points to Claim Rewards

The Minimum Points to Claim Rewards setting determines the minimum number of points a customer must accumulate before they can redeem their rewards.

Example

If the minimum points are set to 100, the customer must accumulate at least 100 points before they can claim a reward.

Step 5: Save Changes

After entering all the required values, review the configuration and click Save Changes to apply the rewards settings.

Consider a business that wants to provide customers with reward points for every purchase.

How It Works

A customer makes a purchase of ₹2,000.

Based on the configured point generation rule:

₹2,000 ÷ ₹100 = 20 Points

Therefore, the customer earns 20 reward points from the purchase.

As the customer continues making purchases and accumulates points, once the balance reaches 100 points, they become eligible to claim a reward.

Based on the conversion rule:

100 Points = ₹10

Therefore, the customer can redeem 100 points for a ₹10 reward.

This configuration creates a simple rewards cycle where customers earn points through purchases and redeem accumulated points for monetary rewards.
