User Roles and Permissions

Overview

Caddayn Biller uses a role-based access control (RBAC) system to ensure users can only access the modules and features relevant to their responsibilities. Permissions are assigned by administrators, allowing businesses to maintain security while providing employees with the tools they need.

Depending on the assigned role, users may have full access, limited access, or view-only access to specific modules and operations.

Role-Based Access

Access permissions can be configured for various business functions, including:

  • Master Data management

  • Inventory operations

  • Sales and POS

  • Purchase management

  • Reports and analytics

  • Administrative settings

  • Customer and supplier management

Permissions can also be assigned on a branch basis, allowing employees to access one or multiple branches as required.

Permission Types

Depending on the assigned role, users may be allowed to:

  • View records

  • Create new records

  • Edit existing records

  • Delete records

  • Generate and download reports

  • Access administrative functions

These permissions help ensure that sensitive business data and operations remain accessible only to authorized personnel.

Best Practices

To maintain system security and data integrity:

  • Assign users only the permissions required for their role.

  • Regularly review user access and permissions.

  • Restrict administrative privileges to authorized personnel.

  • Remove or update access when employees change roles or leave the organization.
